• Chris Gaffney is the founder of Navigation Workplace Solutions and brings more than 25 years of investigative and legal experience to his clients. A former federal law enforcement executive, Chris has led and managed complex criminal, civil, and administrative investigations at the highest levels of government. He is also certified to conduct Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) investigations and is a licensed private investigator in Virginia.

    Over the course of his career, Chris has directed high-profile special investigations and overseen Offices of Professional Responsibility at multiple federal agencies. Earlier in his service, he was a Marine Corps prosecutor and later served as agency counsel with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), where he handled complex Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) and Bivens litigation.

    An Iraq War veteran, Chris is recognized for his integrity, discretion, and commitment to public service. His extensive background enables him to navigate sensitive workplace issues with fairness and precision. By delivering clear, defensible findings, he empowers leadership in both the public and private sectors to make informed decisions, strengthen compliance, and uphold organizational accountability.
